Chick-fil-a Manager Mockingly Offers Vegan a Chicken Sandwich!
-Mocking smile plastered on his face.-
The old bait and switch. People wave, honk and then have a look of 'Oh damn, I just supported not murdering animals... I feel so dirty being a decent human for a second.'
Yes, I wore the cow costume to #cowappreciationday at Chick-fil-a but had my 'Stop Murdrin Chikins' poster with me.
The manager of Chick-fil-a was apparently complained to about me and came out to mockingly offer me a chicken sandwich with a mocking grin. It was clear he was just trying to be a jerk. And then he proceeded to explain to me:
That it is okay to kill chickens because it is a big business and I should just look at all the people supporting it by coming to his store.
Lettuce has feelings - yes, he suggested that I was harming lettuce by being against killing chickens.
And then suggested he was being the bigger person by offering me a chicken sandwich. Yes, offering a vegan a chicken sandwich with a mocking smile is 'being the bigger person'.
While he was talking to me, a lady came up with two kids and said 'Can we get a picture with your cow.' To which he responded, 'This cow isn't with us.' And to which I responded, 'Yes, this cow is against murdering chicken.'
This was all before he demanded I get off his sidewalk and return to the public sidewalk. I asked that he stop believing that if you profit off animal abuse that it makes it okay.
Winter protests are going to be much more fun in this costume. 90 degrees and a cow costume are a bad combo.
